Initial consultations will last between 1.5hr – 2hr., and can take place face to face in treatment rooms in Bristol or via Skype.

Before an initial consultation I will send out a comprehensive health questionnaire and food diary for you to fill in. You will be asked to document your food, drink and sleep patterns for a minimum of 3 days before our initial meeting which will give me some insight into your eating and lifestyle rituals.

Alongside the information from your health questionnaire,  I will take a detailed case history, going through previous medical and family history.  We will talk about any symptoms you may have, and talk through each of the bodies systems. By exploring the major systems in the body it allows me to understand the flow of energy and communication between the cells which activate the bodily functions, and will lead me to where changes can be made.

With your case history I can begin work on a nutrition and wellbeing plan that is tailored uniquely to you. Sometimes I may recommend the use of whole food or herbal supplements, and where appropriate I will ask you to have further testing.

Further testing could involve;

  • Vitamin D
  • Thyroid Function
  • Liver Function
  • Blood Glucose
  • Hormone levels
  • Stool analysis

I will either request tests through your GP or privately through registered laboratories.

Through creating a safe and relaxing environment in which to listen to your history and presenting symptoms, I can piece together a holistic overview looking at all the elements that contribute to your individual wellness (emotional, physical, social, environmental & spiritual).

Once you are in receipt of your initial plan I will recommend that we have a follow-up consultation 4-6 weeks after.

Follow-up consultations will last from 45mins – 1hr and will give me a chance to check in and monitor any progress or difficulties. Quite often the changes that we start to implement can take a number of weeks to establish, so having a series of  follow-up consultations is strongly  recommended.

I will be with you throughout the whole journey, but ultimately the success of the plan, and your personal progress, is dependant on your desire and will to make a positive change.
